WWI GERMAN KAISERMARINE OFFICER'S VISOR HAT W/BULLION INSIGNIA - UNBELIEVABLE RE

Description

Here we have a First World War Imperial German Kaisermarine officer’s replica hat that is in excellent condition. The body of the hat is constructed of navy-blue wool with the visor of black leather. Sewn to the front is a beautifully embroidered crown over wreath and cockade naval insignia. The interior of the hat is with white muslin at the top that has been aged and look used and worn. The interior circumference measures 21 inches. There is a nice leather sweatband securely sewn in place. The visor has been artfully distressed to look like heat exposed tar. This is an extremely fine-looking piece that appears original in all respects. It is finely crafted throughout and would make an excellent “filler”.
