Description
A Harmony children's accordian from the 1930s to 1940s. The body is green tone, marked in whiteraised script with Harmony and Castelfidardo. The keys, green and white make up a two octave keyboard, and the right hand bass has 12 white buttons. Inside, the bellows have a floral pattern, with metal corners; no damage to the bellows. The wrist strap for the right hand is completely intact. The other leather straps, for the shoulders, and to lock the bellows in place will need to be replaced as they are frayed or broken. No damage to case, keys, buttons, but I would shine it up before I used it.
Accordion is 11" long, and 10" from keyboard to wrist plate. Case is original, looks like a typewriter case, clasps in working order. Outside and inside has some scuffing, but what is there is from age and use, not misuse.
The color is striking, and the sound is wonderful for an instrument this size....not tinny or treble.
