Description
This is a superb pair of gothicwooden, olive wood plaques, panels with the emblem with the crossed swords, a knights hand holding a sword of which:
during our research: we have been informed they certainly date from the 19th century:
date about 1890s.

A pair of Wooden, olive wood plaques or panels with:
one having a shield emblem relief carved with the crossed swords
Other has a relief carving of a knights hand holding a sword which has been painted silver.
one has a hinged back, other a back with a section so both can be displayed free standing.
Both have an overall size of about 5.75 x 3.75inches.
Considering the age: the overall condition to both is both are very good and one is subject to:
drying out splits to the olive wood centrally with othe:
minor chipping to the side edge with ageing
