This is a superb Jones & Walley parian jug with the Good Samaritan decoration to the circumference of which:
During our research we have been informed they cer
tainly date from the victorian period of the mid 19th century.
Dates about c1841.
Underneath the Jones & Walley mark .
parian pitcher or jug with the moulded decoration to the circumference of:
the Good Samaritan.
Decorative handle.
It
has an overall height of about 8.5inches.
Max overall dia of the base of about 5in
ches.
Max dia of handle & spout of about 7inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is good and is subject to:
a couple of chips under the base edge with a fine & minor hairline in the same area.
a blemish to the inner rim by the handle.
