Double Spindle Kit for making your own Top and Bottom Whorl Drop Spindle.
The kit includes two 12" hard wood dowels, two 2" diameter, hard wood whorls and 2 brass plated hooks.
All you need in addition to the kit is a small piece of sandpaper and a touch of glue.

NOTE: (The two finished spindles in the picture is NOT included. They are just their as samples.)

Hand sand them for a nice smooth finish and leave natural, or you can stain or paint your spindles to your personal taste.
The finished spindle weighs approximately 0.7 oz.
These are light weight and inexpensive so they are perfect to carry with you for those long waiting rooms and traveling.

NOTE: When choosing your spindle please keep in mind that the "Bottom" Whorl spindle spins slower than the top spindle, thus giving the beginner more control of the fibers while learning, and the advanced spinner more control over extremely short fibers and specialty fibers.

The post office raises it's rates every six months now and the least expensive package is 4.85 for a one ounce package.  Prices goes up as the weight goes up. I do my best to keep the shipping expense as low as possible. Feel free to order all you want as I will combine shipping and overage that can be will be refunded to the buyer.
