New retrofit Cordovox accordion 3-row grill mount deluxe MIDI adaptor kit

FOR AN OWNER OF A CORDOVOX ACCORDION WITH 3-ROW MULTI-PIN GRILL PORT.
YOU WILL NEED A FUNCTIONING REAL-TIME MIDI ARRANGER MODULE AND AMP FOR THOSE WISHING TO CONNECT TO THEIR ACCORDION FOR MIDI PLAY.
One small (3-5/16" X 2-3/16" X 2-7/16") black Deluxe MIDI Adaptor box with 3-row connector.
Adaptor Features:  Red power indicator light, 9 volt out ideal for a battery pack, octave toggle switch, and standard MIDI Out for connecting to your arranger module.
When the adaptor is properly seated into your grill port (you may need to seat it several times to sufficiently clean the pins of the 3-row grill port). The contacts inside the accordion will be activated as you press keys and buttons when the adaptor is powered, the signals are sent to your arranger module from the powered adaptor and become audible in your amp system.
Your MIDI sound levels are controlled by the 4 volume knobs on the adaptor, your arranger volume foot pedal, and the volume controls on your arranger module.  The adaptor knobs 1 and 4 control treble volume while knobs 2 and 3 control bass and bass chord.
The acoustic Scandalli reed volume is, of course, controlled by the Cordovox bellows and adjusted via your amp or PA system volume control and grill volume knobs.
Your accordion organ grill tabs are generally not used, though you may have an on/off grill tab that may function to make the instrument keyboard inactive so others cannot make MIDI keyboard sounds while you are taking a break.

If you wish to use a standard MIDI cable rather than the included special MIDI cable, then you can use the included 9V battery pack to power the adaptor.
I recommend using velcro to fasten the 9V battery pack to the accordion near the adaptor or on it.
