This is a German WWI picklehaube spike helmet cover made from older coarse tan tone cloth with the cypher "R 242" sewn on the front indicating a reserve regiment. The item is faithfully reproduced to look like the originals. Do note that there were more types of cloth used to make these covers than I could ever hope to count. You can unsew and resew the hooks as needed to adjust the fit of the cover to your helmet. It is .50 to ship this cover to anywhere outside Europe and .50 to ship this item within Europe and the UK.
