Description
Reversible glass door and window router bits differ from regular rail and stile bits by rabbeting the entire back of the frame. Window panes can break and if the back was not rabbeted, the only way to replace the pane would be to dismantle the window frame to be able to insert the new pane of glass. To keep the glass in place use standard glass retaining strips and secure with brad nails and a brad pusher. You also have the option to create your own decorative retaining strip from this bit as well.
