****look through my update list at beginning of listing to see what the car will NOT include even though the pictures reflect differently.
Buick 355 Wildcat Engine Comes With Car Lesabre400 Buick Lesabre 400 Wildcat V8. Condition is Used.
300 cubic inch 355 torque 4 barrel with updated iron 4 barrel intake.
The breather is rusted because squirrels made a nest in it. The nuts and nest drew moisture around the breather and carb. Also, sitting outside for so many years, there is a bolt hole on the hood where the hood center chrome trim has a retainer bolt going through. I think a drop of rain water over a period or 55 years dripped one random drip at a time on to the top of the breather. No, the hood was NOT left open. Although the car is low miles, I would STILL overhaul the engine use a new modem carburetor. Not trying to hide anything .
****When I checked the engine oil via dipstick. I do NOT see water. I see oil. Overfull a bit. That’s as far as I can verify engine oil. ****
No, I have not tried to turn engine over. I don’t see the point. Because, I would overhaul the engine regardless of it being free. Just being honest.
I have to move a portion of my junkyard. Had this car stuck back for the future.
My father bought this car back in the late 60s. He used to buy wrecked cars from atlanta area. This car just have been in a front and rear pile up COLLISION. Car looks fixable. But damaged. Needs rear and front and corner work. Probably has rust from somewhere along lower section but I didn’t see any. Didn’t look too hard either. Consider that it does have rust. Just in case.
***Rear windshield glass may be salvageable. Rare and desirable. Mega $$$$ ***
Can’t open doors. Locked from inside. (I am about to get the doors open to part out interior pieces separately).
(UPDATE:Front doors now open)
Interior intact.
Consider the floorboard rusty even though I have yet to investigate. Was sitting low to ground in forest. Surely it is rusty. Just assume it is to play it safe.
Has some rotted areas along crease between trunk and quarter panel on top. Ok driver side it is beginning to split at top edge. Rust holes around trunk to top of quarter panel edge.
I want to reiterate, don’t expect the body on this car to be the valuable asset. It’s more about the trim, engine, trans, dash, a/c and pieces.
******Car was factory air conditioner. Has the a/c vent system in the dash. Factory.
- don’t buy this car for the body. Some pieces are good but don’t expect much due to age. Hood may be ok. A few doors. Lots of panels you could cut out for repair panels in your other car.
-If you want just the engine, you are more than welcome to come and disassemble it and leave the car. I’ll part the car out or haul it off for scrap.
You have up to a month or less to come and get it. I’m easy going.
****If you want shipping, simply list it on the site called uShip to get a quote. Small pickup with trailer shippers will bid on your shipping ****
Before I go to disassembling it for parts and more profit. Here is your chance to buy the whole car.
****I will allow someone to buy the whole car, come for a day or two if needed to get all the parts you want. Leave what is left for me to dispose of. ****
Important! >>>>***I alter my location by 50 miles or less for privacy. My actually zip code is 3 0 five 1 2. If you look at the state of Georgia, I am in the top right hand corner bordering North Carolina, tennessee, and almost South Carolina. I am next door to Helen Georgia, harrahs casino in murphy, the Ocoee River in Tn. Make sure you understand my location!!!!*****
Pay attention to the paragraph below please!
Most important . >>>>>Important! >>>>***I am setting the payment to CASH on pickup. That may be ok but I’d really prefer p-ay/p-al just like in the old days. (If we have agreed to it before you clicks buy it now) (otherwise I’d prefer pa/y:pa/l to pa/y:pa/l outside of here) The issue is, eBay has some crazy glitch going on with their fancy new system where they hold the money for 20 days or something. So if you click buy it now, write me and we can do PP away from the system here. I’ll still pay eBay their fees.
