  • Condition: Steel body has rust all over. Will need repair / replacement. Starts, yard drives and stops. Engine runs good. Carb professionally redone. Fuel tank resealed, painted and reinstalled. Switched to a paper element air cleaner from an oil bath. All glass good except p/s front windshield. Floors have some rust and may be repaired with patch panels. Doors open and close. Brakes new: front and rear, shoes, wheel cylinders, lines, etc.

    Chevy P10 Step Van "Shorty" Known as a Step-Van 7 (7 foot body length, 5,400 GVWR).  Cheech & Chong, "Up in Smoke Green Fiberweed Van."  230 6 cyl High Torque Engine.  Powerglide 2 speed Column.  Manual steering & brakes.  Forward Control Chassis, Series 10, 102" Wheel Base, 167" overall length, 92" high, 74.5" wide.  Independent front suspension, Coil springs front and rear (easy to lower).  Ammeter, temp and oil gauge.  211 Cubic Inch cargo capacity.   Single driver's seat.  Rust everywhere, hood, trunk, doors, floor, quarters, roof (Read Condition Description above).  Restoration started.   Price will adjust as restoration progress occurs.  These mini box vans have become super collectible because they are so hard to find and I've seen them selling for nice prices when finished.  It could be turned into a Cheech & Chong "Up in Smoke Fiberweed Green Van" tribute (just paint green and add 1955/1956 Cadillac quarter panels, a continental kit and a windshield visor!),  restomod, Big Block 396/427 muscle van, LS Engine Swap or whatever you desire (see picture).  All parts are available from numerous catalog companies.  I will include new wheels, tires, and reproduction chrome hubcaps and an original 1966 Chevrolet Sales Brochure, a P10 Step Van parts books and many other parts with a full price purchase.
    Van is located in Charlottesville, VA.  Sold As Is, where is.
