Description

This is a rough but still desirable 1939 Ford standard coupe. It was modified many years ago with some kind of tracks on the back to make a snowmobile. It was most likely used to deliver rural mail somewhere in eastern Montana. The tracks are long gone but the boggie or idler axle is still in front of the rear axle. I would bet you never saw a Ford V8 coupe with tracks before. I would loved to have seen this car in action many years ago.
I am listing this for a friend in Billings Montana who owns it. The doors appear to have been removed a long time ago and left on the ground where the animals walked on them. The deck lid and hood are missing. I will have my friend get better photos of the front floors soon and add them to this listing.
I may have some of the correct wide 5 wheels with or without tires to make this beauty roll and easier to load and unload. There is no title yet but one can be obtained if need be.
If you have a coupe that needs any of the sheet metal from the belt line up, a cowl, a frame with or without axles. or any of the other salvageable parts that are on this car, you might to well to give some very serious thought to hitting the "Buy It Now" button before some other serious Ford flathead V8 enthusiast does so.
