Description
Yosemite National Park purchased 10 tour buses from Pierce-Arrow Motor Corporation in February of 1936. Pierce Arrow then made an offer to Yosemite that if they could attract another 30 orders from other parks they would offer a rebate of 5% of the cost of the ten buses. Yosemite was able to convince the Fred Harvey Company to order 3 tour buses. The Fred Harvey Company operated tours throughout the southwest area for tourists arriving on trains. To our knowledge this is the only remaining 1936 Pierce Arrow bus. The bus needs to be completely refurbished but is mostly complete. My shop has the ability and personnel to restore the bus, we have worked with 25 1930's White Model 706 former Yellowstone Park tour buses. Thanks for looking, you are welcome to ask questions. I also have this bus listed in Hemmings. Tracy Kroon Wilsall, Montana for additional photos and contact check our Facebook page at Krown Restoration
