I apologize to those who had previously bid on this coin. I had mistakenly listed the exact same item in multiple auctions. The coin pictured is the EXACT coin you will receive.
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING, ITS WHAT MAKES THIS COIN SO SPECIAL!!! (Black Display Case NOT included)
The "El Cazador" Shipwreck is known as "The Shipwreck that changed the world"! It is often referred to, incorrectly, as "Pirate Treasure" but these coins are not from pirates!
The El Cazador was a Spanish ship. King Carlos III of Spain tasked the brig in 1770 to bring over 37,000 pounds of Spanish coins to the Spanish Louisiana territory, as aid to a faltering economy. The ship sank in the Gulf of Mexico, endless searches for centuries turned up nothing! It was finally "discovered" by a fishing trawler in 1993 named, of all things,
    The Mistake.
The majority of the once sunken and lost treasure was in the form of 8 reales, or "Pieces of Eight". Part of this being rare is that it is a 2 reale coin! Very few 2 reale coins were recovered.
PLEASE RESEARCH EBAY, ALL THE 2 REALE SHIPWRECK COINS I WAS ABLE TO FIND ARE QUITE DAMAGED IN COMPARISON
